FishLine is a free app available on Android that helps you find fresh local seafood anywhere on the planet. This app is developed by Phondini Partners LLC and falls under the category of Lifestyle. FishLine is an excellent tool for seafood lovers as it connects you with fishermen off the boat, local seafood markets, farmer's markets, local restaurants or cafes, or community-supported fisheries.
The app allows fishermen, markets, CSFs, and restaurants to post their available local seafood for free. CrabLine is a directory of fishermen who take orders for crab, fish, and other seafood via phone, text, or email. FishLine uses your location to find the nearest port, boat, or market with fresh seafood for sale. It also helps you figure out where to find fish if you are on vacation or near several ports. FishLine includes material gathered by the Faces of California Fishing project and is financed in part by a grant from the Central California Joint Cable/Fisheries Liaison Committee.
